Paper Submission

 

SAFECOMP welcomes original work neither published nor submitted elsewhere on both industrial and research experience, including case studies and pilots. Full paper submissions are subjected to a formal peer-review process.  The language of the conference is English.

 

Submissions: Abstracts and papers are submitted through the Springer’s Online Conference Service (OCS).


Contributions are to be submitted in portable document format (pdf) or postscript (ps). They must indicate the name, postal address, e-mail address, phone and fax number of the contact author. We recommend you print your file and review it for integrity (fonts, symbols, equations etc.) before submitting it.


Abstracts: In order to support the reviewing process we ask a preliminary submission of a half-page abstract announcing the intention to submit a full paper and summurizing the content of the paper, its objectives and original contribution.


Full papers: Full papers must not exceed the maximum length of 14 pages to be edited according to the LNCS templates provided by Springer-Verlag at the web site: http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/. Camera ready version of all the accepted papers must be prepared according to the Springer instructions (ftp://ftp.springer.de/pub/tex/latex/llncs/latex2e/instruct/authors/typeinst.pdf).  

 

Copyright Forms: Authors of accepted papers are required to transfer the copyright of their papers to Springer. Please send your signed copyright form to the conference secretariat either as scanned pdf by mail (safecomp2011@unina.it) or by fax (+39 08241711006).

 

Presentation: In order to guarantee the quality of the presentations, each paper must be presented by one of its own author at the conference. Contributions are presented in English language, no simultaneous translation will be provided during the conference.

 

Originality: Only papers neither published nor submitted elsewhere may be submitted for publication. The following declaration should be added:

"All necessary clearances for the publication of this paper have been obtained. If accepted, the author will prepare the final manuscript in time for inclusion in the conference proceedings and will present the paper at the conference."
